7. Eva½ bhagav± pathav²-±d²su vatth³su sabbasakk±yadhammam³labh³ta½ puthujjanassa pavatti½ dassetv± id±ni tesveva vatth³su sekkhassa pavatti½ dassento yopi so, bhikkhave, bhikkhu sekkhoti-±dim±ha. Tattha yoti uddesavacana½. Soti niddesavacana½. Pik±ro sampiº¹anattho ayampi dhammo aniyatoti-±d²su viya. Tena ca ±rammaºasabh±gena puggala½ sampiº¹eti, no puggalasabh±gena, heµµhato hi puggal± diµµhivipann±, idha diµµhisampann±, na tesa½ sabh±gat± atthi. ¾rammaºa½ pana heµµh± puggal±nampi tadeva, imesampi tadev±ti. Tena vutta½ “±rammaºasabh±gena puggala½ sampiº¹eti no puggalasabh±gen±”ti. Yopi soti imin± pana sakalena vacanena id±ni vattabba½ sekkha½ dasset²ti veditabbo. Bhikkhave, bhikkh³ti ida½ vuttanayameva. Sekkhoti kenaµµhena sekkho? Sekkhadhammappaµil±bhato sekkho. Vuttañheta½ “kitt±vat± nu kho, bhante, sekkho hot²ti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu sekkh±ya samm±diµµhiy± samann±gato hoti…pe… sekkhena samm±sam±dhin± samann±gato hoti. Ett±vat± kho bhikkhu, sekkho hot²”ti (sa½. ni. 5.13). Apica sikkhat²tipi sekkho. Vuttañheta½ “sikkhat²ti kho bhikkhu tasm± sekkhoti vuccati. Kiñca sikkhati? Atha v± “sabbe saªkh±r± anicc±ti adhimuccanto saddh±ya viharat²”ti-±din±pi niddesanayenettha attho daµµhabbo. Pathavi½ pathavito abhij±n±t²ti pathavi½ pathav²bh±vena abhij±n±ti, na puthujjano viya sabb±k±ravipar²t±ya saññ±ya sañj±n±ti. Apica kho abhivisiµµhena ñ±ºena j±n±ti, eva½ pathav²ti eta½ pathav²bh±va½ adhimuccanto eva na½ anicc±tipi dukkh±tipi anatt±tipi eva½ abhij±n±t²ti vutta½ hoti. Evañca na½ abhiññatv± pathavi½ m± maññ²ti vutta½ hoti. Maññat²ti maññi. Aya½ pana maññ² ca na maññ² ca na vattabboti. Etasmiñhi atthe ida½ pada½ nip±tetv± vuttanti veditabba½. Ko panettha adhipp±yoti. Vuccate, puthujjano t±va sabbamaññan±na½ appah²natt± maññat²ti vutto. Kh²º±savo pah²natt± na maññat²ti. Sekkhassa pana diµµhimaññan± pah²n±, itar± pana tanubh±va½ gat±, tena so maññat²tipi na vattabbo puthujjano viya, na maññat²tipi na vattabbo kh²º±savo viy±ti.
Pariññeyya½ tass±ti tassa sekkhassa ta½ maññan±vatthu okkantaniy±matt± sambodhipar±yaºatt± ca t²hi pariññ±hi pariññeyya½, apariññeyyañca apariññ±tañca na hoti puthujjanassa viya, nopi pariññ±ta½ kh²º±savassa viya. Sesa½ sabbattha vuttanayameva.
