S±vak± pana buddhehi sadis± m± hom±ti ±vusoti paµhama½ vatv± pacch± bhikkhaveti bhaºanti. Buddhehi ca ±lapito bhikkhusaªgho bhadanteti paµivacana½ deti, s±vakehi ±vusoti.
Kitt±vat± nu kho, ±vusoti ettha kitt±vat±ti paricchedavacana½, kittaken±ti vutta½ hoti. Nuk±ro pucch±ya½. Khok±ro nip±tamatta½. Satthu pavivittassa viharatoti, t²hi vivekehi k±yacitta-upadhivivekehi satthuno viharantassa. Keci pana bhaºanti “paµibh±t³ti dissat³”ti. Apare “upaµµh±t³”ti. Dh±ressant²ti uggahessanti pariy±puºissanti. Tato nesa½ kathetuk±mo thero tena h²ti-±dim±ha. Tattha ten±ti k±raºavacana½. Atha nesa½, ±misad±y±da½ garahantena bhagavat± “tumhepi tena ±diy± bhaveyy±th±”ti ekenev±k±rena vuttamattha½ t²hi ±k±rehi dassento ±yasm± s±riputto etadavoca– “idh±vuso satthu pavivittassa viharato…pe… ett±vat± kho, ±vuso, satthu pavivittassa viharato s±vak± viveka½ n±nusikkhant²”ti.
Ett±vat± yañca bhagav± ±misad±y±dapaµipada½ garahanto “tumhepi tena ±diy± bhaveyy±th±”ti ±ha, yañca attan± puccha½ pucchi “kitt±vat± nu kho…pe… n±nusikkhant²”ti, tassa vitth±rato attho suvibhatto hoti. So ca kho bhagavato ±diyabh±va½ an±masitv±va. Bhagavatoyeva hi yutta½ s±vake anuggaºhantassa “ahampi tena ±diyo bhaviss±m²”ti vattu½, na s±vak±na½. Yesañca dhamm±nanti lobh±dayo sandh±y±ha, ye parato “tatr±vuso lobho ca p±pako”ti-±din± nayena vakkhati. Nappajahant²ti na pariccajanti, cittaviveka½ na parip³rent²ti vutta½ hoti. B±hulik±ti c²var±dib±hull±ya paµipann±. S±sana½ sithila½ gaºhant²ti s±thalik±.
