Tattha y± t±ti ubhayameta½ ratt²na½yeva uddesaniddesavacana½. Abhiññ±t±ti ettha abh²ti lakkhaºatthe upasaggo. Tasm± abhiññ±t±ti candap±rip³riy± candaparikkhayen±ti evam±d²hi lakkhaºehi ñ±t±ti veditabb±. Abhilakkhit±ti ettha upasaggamattameva, tasm± abhilakkhit±ti lakkhaº²y± icceva attho, uposathasam±d±nadhammassavanap³j±sakk±r±dikaraºattha½ lakkhetabb± sallakkhetabb± upalakkhetabb±ti vutta½ hoti.
C±tuddas²ti pakkhassa paµhamadivasato pabhuti catuddasanna½ p³raº² ek± ratti. Eva½ pañcadas² aµµham² ca. Pakkhass±ti sukkapakkhassa kaºhapakkhassa ca. Tattha ca me br±hmaºa viharatoti tath±r³pesu sen±sanesu ya½ ya½ manuss±na½ ±y±cana-upah±rakaraº±raha½ yakkhaµµh±na½ pupphadh³pama½saruhiravas±medapihakapapph±sasur±meray±d²hi okiººakilinnadharaºitala½ ekanip±ta½ viya yakkharakkhasapis±c±na½, ya½ div±pi passant±na½ hadaya½ maññe phalati, ta½ µh±na½ sandh±y±ha “tattha ca me, br±hmaºa, viharato”ti. Yath±bh³ta½ yath±bh³tass±ti yena yena iriy±pathena bh³tassa bhavitassa sato vattam±nassa samaªg²bh³tassa v±. Meti mama santike. Tath±bh³ta½ tath±bh³to v±ti tena teneva iriy±pathena bh³to bhavito santo vattam±no samaªg²bh³to v±ti attho. So kho aha½…pe… paµivinem²ti bodhisattassa kira caªkamantassa tasmi½ magasiªgakhurasadd±dibhede bhayabherav±rammaºe ±gate neva mah±satto tiµµhati, na nis²dati na sayati, atha kho caªkamantova pariv²ma½santo parivicinanto bhayabherava½ na passati, magasiªgakhurasadd±dimattameva ceta½ hoti, so ta½ ñatv± ida½ n±meta½, na bhayabheravanti tato tiµµhati v± nis²dati v± sayati v±. Etamattha½ dassento “so kho ahan”ti-±dim±ha. Esa nayo sabbapeyy±lesu.
